& XPt Performance Breathing Coach

I didn’t grow up with dreams of being a counselor but I’m so glad that life led me here.

Born and raised in Orange County, I moved to Dallas in my mid-twenties and began pursuing the long journey of becoming a counselor in the great state of Texas. Former Equestrian with big dreams of riding for Team USA, life’s many twists and turns, setbacks, relationships, accomplishments, and heartbreaks pushed me to examine parts of myself that I wasn’t aware of or able to understand. Through all the many lessons that I learned, one thing stood out most : My passion for helping others. My boisterous, internal high-achiever has always pushed me towards obtaining  my best life ever, and I love to work with others who want that for themselves too.  If you’ve ever had the thought that “It has to be better than this”, we’re going to get along just fine.

My love for sports, athletes, and coaching led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in teaching and coaching. This confirmed my interest in human function and performance,  deepened my passion for working with those who wanted to live and perform well, and sparked my curiosity for understanding how all parts of the human body were intertwined. I took a few years to continue pursuing my own athletic endeavors and simultaneously began working as a personal trainer and group strength coach, a field I continue to work in part time.

I think what I love most about being a Therapist is that I can’t imagine a day that I will ever get tired of it. I find people to be so complex, fascinating, and unique, that I don’t think there’s a chance we will ever stop learning new things about ourselves or each other, as long as we’re open to it. I find myself honored to be part of the sacred and special work that we accomplish together.

When I’m not working I’m enjoying life in East Dallas alongside my Golden Retriever, Suede. My lifelong desire for all things fun, physical, and outdoors has me seeking out lakes with friends on summer weekends and sporting events or ski trips on winter weekends. Part of my personal growth goals have me setting some sort of new physical challenge each year; the last few years have been spent working on Olympic Weightlifting, backpacking, and climbing Fourteeners.
